My intention in creating this mixed media painting was to re-create the NYC skyline with the WTC towers shining in the sunlight of that beautiful September sky (the "before") in contrast to the tragedy of the attacks on the towers as described in actual newspaper clippings from September 12, 2001 (the "after").
