I called this pumpkin, America's Pumpkin" because it was from all of us. I delivered the pumpkin to the Red Cross Family Assistance Center, which was located at the West end of Manhattan, on 10-11-01. The eyes are carvings of a little boy praying for the left eye and a little girl praying for the right eye. Both images are each surrounded by a heart. We wanted to tell all who had lost someone special, they are in our hearts and prayers.
