Painting depicts terrorist attack in New York, September 11, 2001.
As both the Human souls within the towers, as well as the towers themselves, were doomed, the painting shows the towers bleeding after the impact of the airplanes. This represents both the Human souls as well as that of the towers - which could be considered living entities within themselves. Once the tower succumbs, the eyes of the fallen souls peak from a thick cloud of dust (bottom right). They then rise to the Heavens towards the divine energy Source (left side) where they find safety and peace.
