I created this piece for an assignment while attending The Art Institute of San Francisco in October 2001.
It was made as a Dada piece with newspaper headlines, stars cut from bristol and the lines of the flag were done as a wash with acrylic paint.

On this tenth anniversary of 9/11 the wounds are still deep.
I miss the friends i lost that day, everyday.

My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones, the New Yorkers left in the aftermath, and to the construction workers rebuilding the site.
