When we moved to Seattle, we walked around Seattle Center and noticed a small plaza honoring the likes of Martin Luther King, Jr., the World Trade Center as well as other notable poets and writers.

I felt compelled to place my "Souls Rising" next to the engraved stone honoring the fallen on 9/11/01.
