Have you seen the rain that falls,
Have your heard the thunderstorms,

Did you hear the clash,
Did you Hear the bang,

Did they think of the pain that
was caused,
Did you hear the cries and the
silent goodbyes,

The innocent citizens just working
for pay,

Did you see the plane from afar
that day,

Flying low through the skies,
Like a kite of a child's play,

Did you watch It to the end,
When the choir hit silence and the
hymns where at bay,

Did they think of the Consequence

Or the loved one's lost in the silent
cries.......

(5 second delay)

I did.

Description

Since the 9/11 Attack at the worlds trade center, I have always been interested in all the news about the tragedy. All the facts and stories has been a big interest. At the time we had family working in New York many buildings away and we wondered if they where safe, for many years we never knew only this past year we know they are safe. I wrote this poem in my bed just thinking about the loved ones who have lost friends and families, and the emotions they may feel most of them must feel anger and pain. so I used these emotions to build a poem and in which I am proud of and I hope that others will see my point and that no matter how far you live across the world we can all stand up together as one big family and show we are proud citizens and we will not be defeated no matter what evil is thrown in our direction. May I take this moment to pass on my love to all those families and friends and to all the children that are now growing up without loved one's they will be remembered forever in our hearts Rest In peace to everyone xxx Thank you xxx
