The goal is to provide survivors, responders and witnesses a new way to tell their story of 9/11--with instruments dedicated for this purpose.

"Imagine strings made of metal from the Twin Towers.
Now imagine these strings on a guitar, a violin, and a cello.
Now imagine these instruments played by survivors of 9/11."

The Towers were 110 stories tall, and the 111th Floor is my way of saying that the final story hasn't been told yet. Part of that story will be told through the music these instruments make at the hands of those who survived or who are closely connected to those who perished. Healing, remembrance, and beauty are the goals, as we all know. Keep the faith--it is a pleasure to be in the company of those on this site.
