I painted this art work in December 2002. The terror attack on the Twin Tower in USA happened on 11th September, 2001. The news of the incident spread all over the world through thousands of media and news channels and it was the prime news for several months.I was moved to compose this work to express my feeling through canvas.
I have depicted the whole incident the pathetic images of the victims and the crushed building in a symbolic way. In the painting the white Dove is the symbol of Peace. It is injured and displaced from its shelter. The Peace is attacked by dark and asuric forces.
